HUMAN _

"HUMAN _" was born from a session with fellow artists where we explored the concept of conveying our most authentic self and beliefs through music. I explored the idea of human error, and what meaning it holds to myself as an individual. With the title and sound, I aimed to convey an ironic idea, that interpretation and labelling is in effect, a human error. We can't help but label and judge, as it's a part of being human, and our biggest strength is also our biggest weakness.

The “joke” of the track is that to derive meaning from, or to assert meaning to it is to bring the idea of the track to life. To listen to what is simply there in the moment, rather than listening to what one would assume to be there without knowing, this is my true idea behind this piece and where the concept of this track was born from. Rather than being something to be consumed and delegated a meaning to, it is to be witnessed simply as is. But in saying that, I always like to include a subtle invitation to the listener to produce their own interpretations and meanings, and that what I conceptualize is my OWN, not strictly law or fact, only a perspective.

The “_” is an open invitation through the use of text and symbols to the listener to perceive what is, however they wish. The title and sounds used are not meant to strictly imply the idea of human error, rather, acting merely as a suggestion to the idea the artist (myself) had during creation.
